When I run the BusinessEvents Tester, I notice in the Administrator GUI that there is already a receiver for the queue, how do I avoid this "extra" receiver?

Resolution:
The "extra" queue receiver in the BE is because you have "enabled" the particular destination as Input Destinations when configuring the
BisnussEvent Archive.
You should uncheck the Enable box for any output destination you intent to use.
