Resolution:
If you are unable to delete a project, chances are the project has one or more locked assets. If the number of locked assets is small, the user who locked the assets or the Admin can unlock the assets using the Web UI or a WebDAV client that supports locking.
If the number of locked assets is very large, you can manually unlock the assets from the database then use a WebDAV client to delete the project as per the following procedure:
1. Notify all users to check-in their updates, otherwise work could be lost
2. Shot down the XML Canon server
3. Backup the database (not required but recommended for extra safety measure)
4. Run the following SQL query which should unlock all assets:
DELETE FROM ESS_LOCK;
5. Restart the server
Once all locks are released, you can safely delete the project.
