Resolution:
Both BusinessEvents (BE) v2.0 are tested as 64-bit mode on AIX RS/6000.

In order to run BE in 64-bit mode, you need to have 64-bit JVM and 64-bit TIBCO RV libraries which are available through TRA 5.5 64-bit installer for AIX.

For BE 1.4 or BE 2.0, it is the same installer for 32-bit and 64-bit on AIX 5.2/5.3. However, you need to do the following post-install configuration for BE to run in 64-bit Mode on AIX 5.2 64-bit machines.

1. Backup be-engine
copy TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine to TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine.bak

2. Backup be-engine.tra
copy TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine.tra to TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine.tra.bak

3. Copy the 64 bit wrapper from the TIBCO Runtime Agent installation directory:
copy TIBCO_HOME/tra/version/bin/wrap64 to TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine

4. Make these changes in TIBCO_HOME/be/version/bin/be-engine.tra:
In the tibco.env.STD_EXT_CP property, find %RV_HOME%/lib and replace it with %RV_HOME%/lib/tibrvj.jar.
