Resolution:
Before reading this article, please review Late Breaking News article LBN1-7TS0R5 "All TIBCO Products: the impact on TIBCO products from the upcoming U.S. Daylight Saving Time Changes in 2007". You must make all of the operating system changes mentioned in this article for the DST change.
BusinessConnect 3.6 and its protocols use Java Runtime Environment 1.4.1 (1.3.1 for AIX platforms). You must still use this JRE with BusinessConnect, and not upgrade to one of the JREs mentioned in the article.
Both Sun (Solaris, Windows), and HP have an jar file, known as tzupdater.jar, that can update BC's JRE environment for the DST change. It updates it by having the JRE execute the jar file, like so:
$TIBCO_HOME/bc/jre/1.4.1/bin/java -jar tzupdater.jar -u
IBM has a similar utility available through their support website for JRE 1.3.1.
Please refer to the specific instructions provided on Sun's, HP's, and IBM's websites for specific details on how to upgrade the JRE.
