Description
Description: The problem is triggered by the OCIServerAttach() OCI interface returning ORA-12157 (or any other error) when the TIBCO iProcess Engine seeks to create a new connection to the database.
Following is an example message reported in the SWDIR/logs/sw_warn log when attempting to connect to Oracle:-
2007/01/19 15:04:51(SPO:1:2086:1:unknown_swuser:/idl.c:7.131.1.3:5778): 1945-Database error: fil_get_conn() OCIServerAttach Failed (Statement ID - 0) (ORA-12157: TNS:internal network communication error)
The TIBCO iProcess Engine process sentinels processes will restart the failed TIBCO iProcess Objects Server if the problem occurs.
The problem could potentially occur on any release of the TIBCO iProcess Engine not just the Oracle variant.
The issue will be resolved in the next maintenance release of the TIBCO iProcess Engine. Symptoms:
