Description:
TIBCO Adapter for SAP R/3 5.4.1 now supports TRA 5.5.1, 5.5.2, 5.5.3, 5.5.4, 5.6.0, 5.6.1, 5.6.2 & BW 5.4.0, in addition to the currently supported versions listed in the product documentation.  The only TRA and BW features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for SAP R/3.

Please refer to the TRA 5.6.0, TRA 5.6.1 and TRA 5.6.2 documentation for supported versions of TIBCO Administrator with these TRA versions (see LBN1-9DNP7O).

Limitation and Restrictions:
===================
TIBCO Adapter for SAP v5.4.1 supports TRA 5.6.0, 5.6.1 and 5.6.2 with JRE 1.5.0 and JRE 1.6.0.

64-bit TRA 5.6, TRA 5.6.1 or TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the Unicode adapter on Solaris, HP UX, and HP Itanium, because the Unicode adapter is 64-bit application on these platforms. 32 bit 5.6, TRA 5.6.1 or TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.

The Non Unicode adapter is a 64 bit application on HP Itanium, thus 64-bit TRA 5.6, TRA 5.6.1 or TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the non-Unicode adapter on HP Itanium. 32 bit TRA 5.6, TRA 5.6.1 or TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.

Configuration:
==========
No adapter configuration changes are required to use TRA 5.5.1, 5.5.2, 5.5.3, 5.5.4, 5.6.0, 5.6.1 or BW 5.4.0 with version 5.4.1 of the SAP R/3 adapter.

Please note that JRE 1.6 is bundled with TRA 5.6.2. Please refer to the Migration and Compatibility section of the TIBCO Runtime Agent Release Notes Software Release 5.6.2 for details on using the TRA Upgrade Manager utility to upgrade to JRE 1.6


Known Issues:
============
TIBCO Adapter for SAP 5.4.1 fail to start with JMS transport


Symptoms:


After installing TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.6.0, 5.6.1 and 5.6.2

TIBCO Adapter projects using Enterprise Message Service as transport will not start up from TIBCO Designer and gives the following error:



Message "Code = AESDKC-0156,

Category = JmsComm, Severity = errorRole, Description = could not open JMS shared library jms." displays.    

    

Impact

Loss of Functionality. Adapter does not start.



Cause:

The JMS libraries shipped with TRA is not compatible with the ones shipped with SDK.



Workaround:

Please note that on windows the workaround is different, based on the platform used:



On Windows:

Remove the libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll from the TIBCO_HOME/adapters/sdk/version/bin directory



On UNIX:

Remove the libssl and libcrypto openssl libraries from the TIBCO_HOME/adapters/sdk/version/lib directory

TIBCO Adapter for SAP R/3 5.4.1 supports TRA 5.5.1, 5.5.2, 5.5.3, 5.5.4, 5.6.0, 5.6.1, 5.6.2 & TIBCO Business Works 5.4.0
