RV 6/7 is neither IP- nor OS-specific. With RV 6/7, the licensing mechanism uses digital signatures based on serial numbers rather than IP addresses. Hence, if you re-configured your machine and its IP address is moved to another subnet, the same license will work. Also, the same license works for all OS that RV supports.
