Resolution:
We have tested this extensively and found that this problem exists only with EMS Client Libary of Version 4.3+ when connected to EMS 4.1 Server. The solution is to upgrade the EMS server to a later version (EMS 4.2 + works fine).
This would typically happen if you are just upgrading your TRA version (which installs the newer EMS client libraries) , and not upgrading your EMS server version.
