Description

Resolution:

Defining a batch of records using the “Close file after time elapsed” parameter while sending multiple records to a TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Files (Unix/Win) (FA) subscriber. For FA 5.5.0 or earlier palettes in TIBCO Designer, this field expects a numeric value (in minutes) and does not allow setting any string value. Hence, you can not use Global variables(GV) for this parameter. You will need to change the project in TIBCO Designer each time to make any changes and then redeploy the EAR file. FA 5.6.0 and higher has supported using Global Variable(GV) for this parameter. You can change GV from the tra file or the TIBCO Administrator GUI without redeploying the EAR file again.
