Scenario of changing destination at run time:

Suppose one SFT publisher node and SFT subscriber are deployed at multiple  locations. THe TIBCO (R) Adapter for files (FA) 5.5.0 subscriber will have a distinct destination name on each location. Based on the intended location there will be point to point transfers between the publisher and one subscriber at a time.

For example:  store1.txt can be transferred between publisher to subscriber deployed at store1 using the destination name “store1”. Similarly, for transferring different files to a destination can be used.

File Adapter is not designed to support dynamic endpoints/destinations on the fly.  File adapter is based on the adapter SDK which does not allow chaging destination names during run time. It is not possible to implement such scenarios using File Adapter 5.5 release.

Can the destination be changed per request in the TIBCO (R) Adapter for files 5.5.0 (Unix/Win).
