Resolution:
In such cases check the following:

1). Is the client using the same userId to start the Admin domain as the one that was used to install the software?
2). The vpd.properties and vpd.properties.tibco.hostname should exist in the user home directory who is starting the hawkagent.

Instructions for TRA version 5.7.0 and above:


To troubleshoot, refer to the detailed scenarios in KB 38416.


Instructions for TRA 5.6.0 and prior versions:


Ask the client to bring up the InstallationManager and check if you can see the software in the list. If not then make a backup of vpd.properties files and then stop the hawkagents on the machine. Copy the vpd.properties.tibco.hostname to vpd.properties and bring up the InstallationManager again. You should be able to see the list of software.
