Description:
TIBCO Adapter for Siebel version 5.3.1 now supports Siebel (SEA and SIA) version 8.0.0 with Hot Fix QF 0008 on the following platforms:

- Microsoft Windows 2003 on x86

- Solaris 10 on SPARC

- AIX 5.3 on POWER



Please refer to the adapter documentation for the TIBCO Software requirements.

Limitation and Restrictions:

The Quickfix QF 0008 needs to be installed for Siebel adapter 5.3.1 to work properly, which is currently available only for ENU only. Please contact Siebel support for their plans regarding additional language support (ref Siebel CR # 12-1J0HCWP).

Use adapter installable for the required platform and follow adapter documentation for installation steps.



Configuration Changes:
==================
1) The Siebel Server parameter should not be specified for connecting to Siebel 8.0.0. However, the Host parameter should contain the Port Number along with the Gateway Server Name / IP Address for connecting to Siebel 8.0.0.
2) Please get in touch with TIBCO Support for the steps to import of Siebel business services corresponding to Siebel 8.0.0.
