Description
Resolution:
In case you are using another user id for running the tra and administrator this user must have write permission to the software installation directory or else you will see message related "Failed to acquire lock on vpd.properties" in the tsm.log on enabling the tsm_tracelevel to -1.
In case you are using another user id for running the tra and administrator this user must have write permission to the software installation directory or else you will see message related "Failed to acquire lock on vpd.properties" in the tsm.log on enabling the tsm_tracelevel to -1.
vpd.properties files should be under the USER_HOME directory for the user who is starting the Admin and Hawkagent services.
