Description
Description: Both BusinessWorks™ iProcess Plug-in and iProcess™ Insight both install copies of TIBCO iProcess™ Server Objects (Java); BusinessWorks iProcess Plug-in installs version 10.6.0 whilst iProcess Insight installs 10.5.1. There is a problem in iProcess™ Server Objects (Java) that affects iProcess Insight.
There is a manual workaround, described below, that can be applied which remedies this problem.
During installation the BusinessWorks/Designer java.lang.path is updated with locations of the different versions of iProcess Server Objects (Java) mentioned above. The resolution is to copy the iProcess Server Objects (Java) dlls/jars installed with the BusinessWorks iProcess Plug-in into the location where iProcess Insight installed its version of iProcess Server Objects (Java) as follows:-
1. Shutdown TIBCO Designer/BusinessWorks. 2. Locate <TIBCO_HOME>/bw/plugins/bin and copy all 3 DLLs to <TIBCO_HOME>/bf/plugins/bin (replacing 1 file). 3. Locate <TIBCO_HOME>/bw/plugins/lib/palettes/ssoJBase.jar and copy to <TIBCO_HOME>/bf/plugins/lib (replacing the exisiting version). 4. Restart TIBCO Designer/BusinessWorks.
There will be a fix in a future release of the Tibco iProcess Technology Plug-ins - 10.7.0.03 (Development Project 1869. Hot Fix BusinessWorks iProcess Plug-In with v10.6.1 SSO for Insight.) Symptoms:
