Resolution:
In GridServer v5.0, the Engine Balancer takes Service-level Discriminators into account when it decides which engine should be routed to a shared broker; this prevents situations in which Engines migrating between Brokers when they are not able to run specific Services.


To enable this option, set the Max Service Discriminators value under the Engine Balancing section in Admin > Manager Configuration > Engines and Clients.

Note that this value should be considered carefully as the balancer needs to compare discriminators to idle engines; therefore using an unlimited set of discriminators might impact computational time and result in increased performance cost.
