Description

Resolution:
This Warning is seen when the RTprocess cannot find the SmartSockets resource file tal_ss.cat.  This usually is a result of starting an RTprocess without having the environment variable RTHOME set OR moving the tal_ss.cat file to some other directory. To address this problem set the following option in the RTprocess:

setopt  Catalog_File   /sub_directory/tal_ss.cat

where “sub_directory” is the location of the resource file. NOTE: Prior to SmartSockets 6.8.1 the Warning message,
“TAL-SS-00000-W : The file \standard\tal_ss.cat" does not exist.”
was not reported if the resource file was not found. Beginning with SmartSockets 6.8.1 the Warning is displayed as soon as the RTprocess attempts to access the resource file and fails.
