Resolution:
This can often occur after a password change to your IPEADMIN user.

Part 1
Open up Administrative Tools...Component Services

select Computer...My Computer ... Com+ applications by navigating the tree.
Try starting the staffware event app by right-click restart on the icon
In a normal working system you would see movement on the Staffware Events icon. If you get an error or it doesn't animate, then please
a) right-click staffware events icon and select properties
b) choose identity tab and re-enter password twice.
c) click okay and retry starting this and looking for the animation.

Part 2

Bring up Control Panel...Administrative Tools...Services
Find your iProcess Nodename Process Sentinels service (iPE 10.6+) or Staffware nodename Process Sentinels (Pre 10.6 iPE)

Right-Click...Properties
Click the Logon tab
enter the new password in the Password and Confirm password tabs.
