Description:
This is observed only if:
•    At least one of the TIBCO Universal Installer based products+ has been installed and the environment &ltAMX_HOME> is already defined, AND
•    You install TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.5.4 at location &ltTIBCO_HOME> on the same machine.

Following is the list of products that are affected:
-    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Foundation 2.0.0
-    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Bus 2.0.0
-    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid 2.0.0
-    TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Service Engine 5.6.0.
Note that the Service Pack releases for the ActiveMatrix suite of products are not affected.

+ Following is a list of the TIBCO Universal Installer based products:
•    Hibernate 3.2
•    TIBCO Business Studio 2.1 and 2.2
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Service Engine 5.6
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Foundation 2.0
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Bus 2.0
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Grid 2.0
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Agent 2.0
•    TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Manager 2.0
•    TIBCO Rendezvous 8.1

Workaround:  Enable multiple environment support and then install the ActiveMatrix products in the correct location as follows:
1. Extract the ActiveMatrix product archive to a temporary directory.
2. Edit the &ltProduct&gtFeatureConfig.xml file in the temporary directory and set the property multipleEnvironmentSupport to true.

3. Run the TIBCOUniversalInstaller.
4. In the Installation Environment screen, choose the first instance of environment from the list of available environments.
5. Proceed to complete the installation in the normal way.

Cause:

If you install the GA version of any of the ActiveMatrix suite of products after installing TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.5.4, the TIBCO Universal Installer points to TIBCO_HOME as the installation location instead of AMX_HOME.
