What is supported:
If a problem were seen when using SmartSockets on VMwware and the problem was reproducible on the native platform that VMware was emulating then a defect would be reported against SmartSockkets on the native platform.
What is not supported:
Compatibility. If VMware does something different than the native platform it is emulating Engineering would not be moved to change anything in the SmartSockets product.
Performance. If SmartSockets performs better under the native environment than the one that VMware is emulating then there would be no action to modify SmartSockets.
