Resolution:
If the follwoing conditions are all true :
1. all TIBCO components are configured using Host Names instead of IP Address - e.g. for the RV network parameter, no IP address was specified, for JDBC URLs, Host Names are used instead of IP address
2. the Host Names of TIBCO machines do not change, only the IP address changes

then user can simply stop and restart all TIBCO components for the change to take effect. Optionally user can also reboot the machine after the IP adress change just to make sure.

If the actual IP address is used in place of Host Names then you need manually change them in Designer.

However, for purpose of disaster recovery, it is still advisable to back up all your BW projects, deployment details and Administrator Server details before making the IP change. We would also like to advice the same change be done in a testing environment first, veryfying everything works as expected before moving to production.

We may be faced with changing the IP addresses of our Production BW servers and need guidance.
