You need not to install the patch.The document is obsolete about this.
Hawk 4.2.0 supports AIX 4.3 and 5.1. But in AIX 4.3.*, there are some defects which affect Java applications, and APAR IY14529 is supposed to resolved these defects. So we documented this in Hawk 4.2.
