Description:
TIBCO Adapter for Teradata 5.4.0 now supports Red Hat Linux 4.0, in addition to the currently supported platforms listed in the product documentation.

Please refer to the product readme for details on the other supported platforms.

Limitation and Restrictions:

The database versions supported, and required proper CLI and JDBC libraries, are the same versions that are supported by Red Hat Linux 3.0. by Red Hat Linux 4.0, which are documented in the product readme.  Please review the Teradata release notes for these libraries to find out any and all limitations or restrictions imposed by the libraries.

Because TIBCO Adapter for Teradata 5.4  is a 32-bit package for Red hat Linux, it requires a 32-bit TIBCO TRA version. However, TIBCO Adapter for Teradata 5.4 is  supported running in either 32-bit environments or 64-bit environments.

Installation Steps:

TIBCO Adapter for Teradata 5.4.0 includes an installation package for Red Hat Linux. Please follow the installation instruction as detailed in the User’s Guide for UNIX installation for more information about installation on this platform.
