Resolution:
This can be caused on UNIX when the 2 Gigabyte file size is reached or approached on files the InConcert server writes to such as the audit log, the status log or the debug log. Check in IC_HOME/logs for any files that size and remove or rename the files.
Note the worker are probably only going to go defunct when some event happens and something has to be written to one of the files.
