TIBCO Administrator 5.6.0 now supports IBM AIX 6.1, in addition to the currently supported platforms listed in the product documentation.

Please refer to the product readme for details on the other supported platforms.

Installation Steps:
===================

TIBCO Administration 5.6.0 already provides an installation package for IBM AIX 5.3. Please use the IBM AIX 5.3 installation package for installation on IBM AIX 6.1 and follow the installation instructions as detailed in the respective product documentation.

TIBCO also recommends customers apply TIBCO Hawk 4.8.1 Hotfix 1 as per the known issue identified below.

Known Issues:
============

CR 1-996HJO: (AIX only) In a file based domain (where TIBCO Rendezvous is the domain transport), the primary administration server may fail when a secondary administration server is added to the domain on AIX 6.1.

CR 1-996HJ1: (AIX only) The File System microagent failed to start due to a parsing error of /etc/filesystems. This has been fixed in TIBCO Hawk 4.8.1 Hotfix 1.
