Resolution:
BW does not support MAPI so far (BW 5.7). There is already an enhancement request for this (1-78SFQ9). But there is no plan when to implement it yet. Here are some workaround for it:
1. Enable POP3 on your Exchange server. Most mail servers are running with both MAPI and POP since many clients don't support MAPI.
2. If you have good reasons not to enable POP3, you could create a mail account on a POP server and set up automatic forwarding from the Exchange account to the POP account. Then configure BW to check the POP account with the Receive Mail activity. You could even set the separate POP server without SMTP, so it would just receive emails as a broker.
3. BW also allows you to invoke custom Java code or external command, so you could invoke MAPI implementation/toolkits to use these features. I am afraid there are no ready MAPI API / tools from Tibco BW and we do not have any recommendation about it.
