The exact syntax for EMS 5.1.0 is the following:
universal_uninstall.exe -V uninstallProductID="ems" -V uninstallProductVersion="5.1.0" -silent
The general syntax is:
universal_uninstall.exe -V uninstallProductID="<prodid>" -V uninstallProductVersion="<version>" -silent
Where the uninstallProductVersion is optional. But if version is not specified, then it will uninstall all versions of that product.
Please be aware, if you do not “silent install” EMS 5.1.x, then you won’t have universal_uninstall.exe.
