Silent mode installs the product using either the default or custom settings that are saved in a response file. In silent mode, the Universal Installer does not prompt for any inputs during installation. Instead, the inputs are read from a response file that can be provided as a command-line parameter.

The response file for File Adapter 5.6.0 and 6.0 can be created using the FA Suite Installer on Windows platforms during installation.
    
While installing FA in console mode, use the following command to create the response file:

&ltFA_Suite_installer.exe> -a –options-record C:\temp\fa_rsp.txt

–a option applies only to a Suite installer on Windows platform
