The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 since its general availability. Please refer to the attached amended readme the details regarding these additions.

TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x
[ADDED 24-JULY-2013]
TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0. Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 now supports JRE 1.7.
Limitations and Restrictions:
For HP-UX Itanium, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.
For the remaining Unix platforms and all Windows platforms, TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 32-bit and 64-bit Platforms. On 32-bit Unix and Windows platforms, the 32-bit TRA executable should be used. On 64-bit Unix Platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used. On 64-bit Windows platforms, it is recommended that the 32-bit TRA executable be used unless the 32-bit adapter needs to run on the same Windows machine with the 64-bit TRA executable and other 64-bit TIBCO applications.
In order to use product version with the 64-bit TRA executable, please follow the configuration steps below:

Issues due to JRE 1.7 may need to be investigated with a TRA version that supports a JRE version supported by the vendor.

Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

For further inquiries about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 supports TRA 5.6.2 with JRE 1.5.0 and 1.6.0.
The Unicode Adapter is a 64 bit application on Solaris, HP UX, AIX and HP Itanium, thus 64-bit TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the Unicode adapter. 32 bit TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.
The Non Unicode adapter is a 64 bit application on HP Itanium, thus 64-bit TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the non-Unicode adapter on HP Itanium. 32 bit TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 supports TRA 5.6.2 with JRE 1.5.0 and 1.6.0.
The Unicode Adapter is a 64 bit application on Solaris, HP UX, AIX and HP Itanium, thus 64-bit TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the Unicode adapter. 32 bit TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.
The Non Unicode adapter is a 64 bit application on HP Itanium, thus 64-bit TRA 5.6.2 is required when using the non-Unicode adapter on HP Itanium. 32 bit TRA 5.6.2 is required on all other supported platforms.

Please note that JRE 1.6 is bundled with TRA 5.6.2. Please refer to the Migration and Compatibility section of the TIBCO Runtime Agent Release Notes Software Release 5.6.2 for details on using the TRA Upgrade Manager utility to upgrade to JRE 1.6

Both 32-bit and 64-bit BusinessWorks executables are supported. If BusinessWorks and TIBCO Adapters will be installed on the same machine, the bitness of both products may need to be the same. Please check the adapter's product documentation and LBNs for any limitations regarding bitness Support.
