Resolution:
We believe it should be possible to use RV with Citrix; however, this is something that we have not tested officially, so we are unable to recommend a suitable configuration, nor do we have any documents regarding it. We would recommend to customers who are interested in implementing RV on Citrix, to run thorough regression testing in their environment.
If you do wish to implement the Citrix/RV architecture then the following piece of information may prove useful:
“You should run the rvd as a service on the citrix server and not within a virtual machine. When the clients are started within the virtual machine, they should use a daemon parameter of tcp:X.X.X.X:7500, where X.X.X.X is the IP address (or hostname) of the citrix server machine.”
