The TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for SAP 6.0.0 fails to create a valid response file while installing the adapter using the command TIB_adsap-suite_6.0.0_win_x86.exe –a -is:javaconsole -console -options-record <path of response file>
Symptom:

Tibco Adapter for SAP (R/3) fails to create a valid response file while installing the adapter using the command TIB_adsap-suite_6.0.0_win_x86.exe –a -is:javaconsole -console -options-record <path of response file> as mentioned in the R/3 adapter documentation. The response file created is incomplete.
Impact:

Loss of functionality.
Cause

Issue with adapter installer.
Workaround:

All adapter versions ship the adr3response.nt which can be used to install the adapter in silent mode. The adr3response.nt is present in the adapter home folder. Install the adapter in GUI mode to get the correct response file. Then, this file can be used in silent installation.
Resolution
------------
As this issue is an installer issue, it will be fixed in a later release of the adapter.
