When a CM correspondent (transport), acting as a publisher, realizes that a CM correspondent (transport), acting as a subscriber, did not acknowledge any messages for a period of time, the publisher will send an acknowledgement request on a per subject basis to the recorded inbox of the subscriber. If the subscriber fails to respond to this point-to-point acknowledgement request, the "NO_RESPONSE" advisory will be issued (i.e. the CM publisher will present the DELIVERY.NO_RESPONSE advisory).
A sender (not the listener) presents DELIVERY.NO_RESPONSE advisory when a listener does not confirm certified messages. This advisory means that a certified message has not been confirmed in a timely manner by a CM subscriber. Ensure that if your CM subscriber use explicit confirmation you confirm every message after it is received. Also, this advisory may occur if the listener is offline or the confirmation is greatly delayed.
In summary, the CM publisher presents the DELIVERY.NO_RESPONSE advisory when it does not receive the confirmation from the CM subscriber(s) in a timely manner, regardless of the time limit setting. Even if the time limit for messages are set to 0, if the CM publisher did not receive the confirmation of a message from all the CM subscribers, it presents this DELIVERY.NO_RESPONSE advisory.
