Customer concern that unauthorized users can get access to the database or TIBCO Enterprise Message Service by using the encrypted password in TIBCO Designer. They want a way to restrict access to TIBCO Designer.

There is no direct way to restrict the access to TIBCO Designer. We can allow connections from specified hosts to either the Database or TIBCO Enterprise Message Service. For TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, use the TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 5.X JAAS plugin to validate the client's IP Address when authenticating both the username and password. For the database, limit the connection from the Database part. We can also consider restricting the users to login the specified hosts.
