Symptoms

TIBCO Adapter(TM) for LDAP v5.4.1 readme file states support for the following Directory Servers:-

Microsoft Active Directory 2000
Microsoft Active Directory 2003
Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode Retail Version

Impact
======
Loss of Functionality. The adapter might not function as expected.

Cause
=====
While using Microsoft Active Directory/ADAM server, it is required both the LDAP server and the LDAP adapter be running on Win32 (refer to LBN1-875NYU). Thus, the mentioned Microsoft directories are restricted to the Windows platform. As  TIBCO Adapter(TM) for LDAP v5.4.1 supports only the Solaris 10 x86 platform, the Microsoft LDAP Servers are not supported.

Resolution
==========
The errata in the readme file will be corrected in the future adapter releases.
