Resolution:
Unexpected behavior with tabbed browsing in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0 and Mozilla Firefox (FX).

Environment:

TIBCO Product name and version: TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager 7.x
Operating System(s): All Operating Systems

Symptoms:

When you have a user already logged in TIBCO CIM (Collaborative Information Manager) UI with admin privileges and then in the next tab in the same browser window, another user logs in (with lesser privileges), it gets identical view as admin.

Cause:

This is an expected behavior with IE 7.0 / FX.  The same session would be maintained across all the tabs opened in a window.

Resolution:

If you want to open a new session, you will need to either open a new IE / FX window or first logout and then login as another user.
