The entry, “Inbound data packets missed” is displayed whenever one or more missing incoming packets is detected, regardless of the successfulness in retransmission later on. The local daemon detected that one or more TRDP packets has been missed and will request retransmission from the sending daemon.

The entry, “Inbound data loss, sequence falls outside window” indicates that the receiving daemon has detected a sequence gap (i.e., has missed data), but knows that it would not make sense to re-request the missing packet(s) because they would be outside the reliability interval (i.e., no longer buffered) by the sending daemon.

The entry, “'Inbound data loss has occurred” means the receiving daemon detected dataloss packets. The receiving daemon may or may not have requested retransmission before reporting this problem.
