Description
Resolution: Description: ============ In FA, when using a Pre/post processing script, there is a way to communicate a processing status message back to the runtime adapter by specifing the string %ScriptStatusFile% as the last argument in the Pre Processing or Post Processing Argument field under the processing Tab. But in TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for Files (FA) 5.6.0, if using the “ScriptStatusFile” argument in the pre/post processing field, then file adapter crashes.
Environment: =========== TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for Files 5.6.0
Symptoms: ======== On Windows, File Adapter crashes when FA service with “ScriptStatusFile” is used as an argument in the pre/post processing field, ran continuously for 3-4 times.
On Unix, File Adapter crashes when FA service with “ScriptStatusFile” used as an argument in the pre/post processing field, ran for the very first time.
Cause: ===== This is a known issue with FA 5.6. File Adapter crashes if “ScriptStatusFile” is used as an argument in the pre/post processing field. This behavior can be seen on Windows when FA ran continuously for 3-4 times but it can be seen for the very first time on UNIX.
Resolution: ========== This issue is fixed in FA 6.0.0.
