TIBCO ActiveMatrix™ Adapter for SAP 6.0 supports Secure Network Connection (SNC) with SAP systems for INI file type connections only.

SNC is a software layer in the SAP system architecture that provides an interface to an external security product. With SNC, you can strengthen the security of your SAP system by implementing additional security functions that SAP systems do not directly provide.SNC provides security at the application level. This means that a secure connection between the components of the SAP system is guaranteed, regardless of the communication link or transport medium. You therefore have a secure network connection between two SNC-enabled communication partners (For example, SAP application server and TIBCO ActiveMatrix™ Adapter for SAP 6.0).

To enable the SNC between SAP application server and Adapter, you need to install and configure the SNC on both SAP application server and Adapter sides. For detailed steps and information for configuring the SNC, please refer to the attached document (SAPAdapterSNCUserGuide.docx).
