Deployment of BusinessEvents engine fails on a Unix server for both inside and outside the administrator domain.

This issue (start of the engine fail without any log) could happen when the Xms, Xmx, min heap and max heap size settings are incorrect. The Min/max heap paramerters overwrites the- Xmx Xms settings. It is possible that the max heap specified in the TRA file is quite less. Also, max heap has to be greater than min heap.
Check the TRA files <TibcoHome>/tra/domain/<domain>/\application/<applicationName>. You could also start the cmd file from that folder in a terminal session and verify the output.
