Resolution:
The error is generally thrown when more than one version of BW/TRA is installed on the machine and there is a cross-reference of a classpath or JAR file from different versions. Check the bwengine.tra or deployed application .tra to make sure it is pointing to the correct versions of BW/TRA JARs. Also make sure you do not have any old JAR files under bw/5.x/lib.
