The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 since the GA. Please refer to the attached amended readme for details regarding these additions.

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x

Limitations and Restrictions: Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0. For further inquires about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.
For HP-UX Itanium, the 64-bit TRA executable should be used.
For the remaining Unix platforms and all Windows platforms, TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 64-bit Platforms. On 64-bit Unix Platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used. On Windows platforms, it is recommended that the 32-bit TRA executable be used unless the 32-bit adapter needs to run on the same Windows machine with the 64-bit TRA executable and other 64-bit TIBCO applications.
In order to use TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 with the 64-bit TRA executable, please follow the configuration steps below:
•SOL1-BT3Y0H - Configuring C++ TIBCO (R) Adapters to work with TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.7.1 and 5.7.2 (64-bit) for Windows.

Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0. Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 now supports JRE 1.7.
Limitations and Restrictions:

The reason is that with the Native mode, the adapter has to run on the same box as the Tuxedo Server. Oracle has only certified the Tuxedo Server for RH6/64 (not 32) but the adapter is 32-bit and so are the two agent libraries it ships for building Tuxedo services and these 32-bit libraries cannot be used with the 64-bit Tuxedo Server.

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x

Limitations and Restrictions: Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0. For further inquires about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0. Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO Adapter for Tuxedo 6.0.0 now supports JRE 1.7.
Limitations and Restrictions:
