Description
Resolution: Environment: =========== All adapters having RV session configured.
Symptoms: ======== Adapters failed to start and threw error like the following:
Startup Error. SDK Exception: {Code = AESDKC-0073, Category = TibRvComm, Severity = errorRole, Description = RV Error: Failed to create transport for session HawkDefault : Arguments conflict, File = C:/suren/workspace/Maverick/maverick-5.6.1-dev/libmaverick/MRvSessionImpl.cpp, line = received on starting the adapter after initialization. The Repository URL is C:/tibco/tra/domain/tib_prod_ac2/data/AircellCache ypeAccess=CLIENT_USAGE_FORCE_INSTANCE_LOCK and the Configuration URL is Adapters/CacheAdapterConfiguration.
Cause: ===== This is caused by misconfiguration in the RV settings. A common cause could be same service port bound to a different network at the same machine.
Resolution: ========== 1). The error message contains which session is having the issue. First, confirm the RV settings are correct in this session.
2). If it is correct then go over of all RV settings in all TIBCO products, including Adapters, BW processes and Hawk. Find which has been mis-configured, correct it, redeploy and restart.
NOTE that a quick resolution that might work is simply changing the service port of the problematic session reported in the error message. However, to avoid functionality loss, it is better to find out the one which was incorrectly configured and correct it.
