o OSB releases 5.0 on z/OS.

Symptoms:

PROCESS_TABLE fails with "Invalid operator in selection string".

Cause:
======
As a result of changes to key processing late in the life of ObjectStar R4.0 documented in flash 4.0-12 there was a corresponding change to PROCESS_TABLE that meant selection values that were once treated as string were now treated as numbers in OSB R5.0. Depending of the number of decimal digits in the selection string field a numeric overflow could occur resulting in the error in the title.

Resolution:
===========
Apply OSB R5.0 PTF AP13397, currently scheduled to be in hotfix 13.
