Description:
============
When using the EDIFACT protocol to exchange EDIFACT documents between trading hosts and trading partners, some hosts and partners do not use an Interchange Qualifier.  Since the BusinessConnect EDI Protocol requires a qualifier be specified, the qualifier must be defined as NULL when the trading partner is configured.

To add a NULL value as an interchange qualifier,  do the following:

1. Go to BusinessConnect-> System Settings-> Metadata Configuration-> Domains
2. Click on the New button.
3. Add Domain name as "NULL" and click Save.
4. Click Done button
5. Click Done button

This will add the value NULL as an acceptable qualifier.

After you do this step you will be able to specify NULL as an qualifier.  To do this for each trading host or trading partner, go to Participants -> &ltTP NAME> -&gtProtocols -> EDI-EDIFACT -> click on 'Add New'.  In the drop down list, you will find NULL as a valid value for the Interchange qualifier.
