Resolution: Description: ============ I have a domain where BusinessConnect (BC) version 5.2.0 is deployed and running on one machine. On the second machine, I have TIBCO Designer with BC 5.3.0. In TIBCO Designer or BusinessWorks, I have created a BC Server connection (5.3.0) and when trying to access BC 5.2.0 config store, I am getting the following error.
"Error during retrieving information from the Configuration Store: Version mismatch: com.tibco.ax.fw.cfg.common.BCVersionMisMatchException: existing BC installation detected"
In the TIBCO Designer with BC 5.3.0, can I access another BC 5.2.1 config store?
Environment: ============ BusinessConnect all versions
Symptoms: ========= When I try to access different version of BC configure store from another BC version, I am getting the following error in the Designer/BW. ******* Error during retrieving information from the Configuration Store: Version mismatch: com.tibco.ax.fw.cfg.common.BCVersionMisMatchException: existing BC installation detected *******
Cause: ====== You are getting this error because of the use of different BC versions on different machines. BusinessConnect does not support access to a different BC version config store from another version of the BC BW palette.
Resolution: =========== You can only connect to the same version of BC config store from the same version of the BC BW palette. You can not connect to a different BC version (5.2.1) config store from another BC version (5.3.0).
