Description
Resolution: Description: ========== When TIBCO ActiveMatrix (R) Adapter for Files (FA) service is busy in processing heavy loaded messages (input file is larger than > 50 MB) or there is a lack of system resources such as memory, then it is seen that TIBCO Administrator (Admin) displays deployed status of instance in an "Error" state though file adapter process (adfileagent) is running.
Environment: =========== FA 6.0.0 and supported versions of Admin and TIBCO Runtime Agent(TRA).
Symptoms: ======== 1). Status is shown as “Error” in Admin .
2). FA process is running can be checked by adapter log file or verifying actual file adapter process (adfileagent) is running/processing the messages.
Cause: ===== THe TRA Domain Hawk Agent is responsible for sending the status of deployed instances at regular intervals. If a FA process is busy in processing then it prevents a timely response to the domain Hawk agent request and results into a “Error” state.
Resolution: ========= This is normal behavior when a FA service is busy in processing a heavy load of messages or lacks system resources. After completing the processing of messages or system resources become available, the deployed FA instance will change the status to "Running" from "Error".
