As hotfixes for TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) do not require the full package to be installed, the components affected by the hotfix just need to be copied to the respective directories of an already existing EMS installation. The hotfix information is not registered anywhere in the target system.

1). If you want to verify the EMS server hotfix information, please submit to TIBCO Support the startup banner of the EMS server, which tells the exact version of the EMS server, e.g.,

TIBCO Enterprise Message Service.

From this header (Version 4.4.3 V5 3/27/2008), TIBCO Support will be able to find out if this is a GA version of EMS or if a hotfix has been applied.

2). If you need to verify the EMS client hotfix information, please run tibemsadmin “show connections version”, and send TIBCO Support the output, e.g.,
