Resolution:
How to increase  “Max Tasks” in Siebel server 8.0.

The Siebel Call Center Object manager (SCCObjMgr) has limited the number of connections opened by other applications such as Siebel Adapter. In other words, the Siebel Adapter can only open  as many connections to SCCObjMgr as is defined.  By default the maximum number of connection is 20, meaning the adapter can only open 20 connections to SCCObjMgr by default.

In Siebel, the maximum number of connections can be altered. The SCCObjMgr has a property/parameter called "Max Tasks" which controls how many tasks/connections can be opened for this SCCObjMgr to invoke the Siebel business logic.

Steps:

1). Open the Siebel Call Center.

2). Navigate -> Site Map -> Administration - Server Configuration -> Servers -> Components -> Parameters

3). In the Components view, select the “Siebel Call Center Object manager” and in the “Siebel Call Center Object manager” parameters view, select “Maximum Tasks” .

4). By default, "Maximum Tasks" is set to 20, Modify this value then restart for the change to take effect.
