Description:
TIBCO IntegrationManager (TM) 5.0.2 HotFix 11 now supports HP-UX version 11iv2 on PA-RISC systems in addition to the currently supported HP-UX version as listed in the TIBCO IntegrationManager (IM) 5.0.2 product documentation.  

Please refer to the product readme for details on the other supported OS versions for TIBCO IntegrationManager 5.0.2


Installation Steps:
==============
· 32-bit Sun Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5.0.21 or higher Setup
· TIBCO Rendezvous Setup
· TIBCO IntegrationManager 5.0.2 (IM) Hot-Fix 11 Setup
· Oracle 10g/11g Setup (optional)

Configuration Changes:
===================

For Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5.0.21 or higher:
---------------------------------
1. TIBCO IntegrationManager Engine tra file need to include Sun Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5.0 virtual machine (jvm) path.
For example-
For TIBCO Integration Manager Engine, set ‘java.library’ in imse.tra to <Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5 installation>/ jre/lib/PA_RISC2.0/hotspot/libjvm.sl

2. Set LD_LIBRARY_PATH pointing to parent directory of JVM library path in im_env file
For example-
export  LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5 installation>/jre/lib/i386<Java (JRE / JDK) 1.5 installation>/jre/lib/PA_RISC2.0/server

3. Set SHLIB_PATH same as LD_LIBRARY_PATH in im_env


Please refer to Sun Java (JDK/JRE) documentation to locate java virtual machine and java library path on specific platform.

For Oracle:

TIBCO IntegrationManager Engine tra files need to include Oracle Thin and Thick drivers for Oracle database

- For TIBCO Integration Manager Engine, set ‘tibco.class.path.extended’ in imse.tra to point to Oracle drivers (Thin or Thick) for Oracle 10g or 11g


Known Issues:
=============

1.  TIBCO IntegrationManager Editor or Engine fails to start-up with the following error with HP-UX 11i Java 1.5.0.03
**
The stack size specified is too small, Specify at least 384k  Could not create the Java virtual machine
**

Symptoms:
=========
An exception is logged at the start-up. Increasing stack size does not help.

Impact
======
IM editor or Engine is not able to start-up.

Resolution
==========
Apply JRE 1.5.0.21 patch or higher. This is known Java issue.

2. TIBCO IntegrationManager Editor throws following error while start-up

java.lang.RuntimeException: cannot load system cursor: CopyDrop.32x32
Caused by: java.awt.AWTException: Exception: class
java.security.PrivilegedActionException null occurred while loading:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-5-openjdk/jre/lib/images/cursors/cursors.properties

Symptoms:

An exception is logged at the start-up

Impact
======
GUI distortions will be seen.

Resolution
==========
Make sure the following images exits in the cursor folder(jre/lib/images/cursors) otherwise try re-installating latest JRE 1.5.0.21 patch.
