If you require screen sizes other than the default model 2 24x80 for IMS TM sessions into TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS, you will need to customize and implement the IMS Sign-on/Sign-off security exit routine DFSCSGN0.

Environment:
============
• TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS
• Service Gateway for IMS TM
• IMS TM
• z/OS

Symptoms:
=========
If you do not implement the customized IMS Sign-on/Sign-off security exit routine DFSCSGN0, all screen sessions will use the default model 2 3270 screen size of 24x80.

Cause:
======
A customized IMS Sign-on/Sign-off security exit routine DFSCSGN0 is required to support:
• Extended data stream attributes (for example, color, beeping)
• Terminal screen sizes other than model 2 (that is, models 3, 4, and 5)
• Support for CANCELUSER

Resolution:

Refer to the "TIBCO® Object Service Broker for z/OS Installing and Operating Software Release 5.2.0" manual, section "Install IMS TM NCT Terminal Support for Sign-on Exit" for instructions on customizing the IMS DFSCSGN0 sign-on/sign-off exit. A sample exit S6BDCSGN in the ASM data set can be used as a guide to customizing the IMS TM NCT sign-on and sign-off exit for your site.
