Resolution: Description: ============ I have multiple certificates from my trading partner, and I would like to merge them into single certificate file (p7b).
Environment: ============ BusinessConnect all versions
Resolution: =========== You can merge the files using Internet Explore as follows:
1). Click on the individual certificate and open it.
2). Click on "Install Certificate..." and follow the default Windows instructions until you see "The import was successful".
3). Repeat the first two steps for all individual certificates.
4). Open Internet Explorer and to go to Tools - Internet Options - Content - Certificates and verify that the certificates have been imported under the "Other People" tab, the "Intermediate Certification Authorities" tab, or the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" tab.
5). Identify your leaf certificate which is generally located in the "Other People" tab. Select it and click on the "Export" button. Click on "Next" and select "Cryptographic Message Syntax Standard - PKCS #7 Certificates (.p7b)" and enable the check box for "include all certificates in the certification path if possible". Follow the default Windows instructions to finish the export.
6). At the end you will see the message "Export was successful".
7). This *.p7b certificate file can now be imported into in your Administrator from Administrator>BusinessConnect>Participants>TPName>Credentials.
